IPO Week Preview

October 23, 2026 | Week October 19–23, 2026

With staff and AI research assistance By Frank Whitaker and Stan Rosenberg

Research cutoff: 2026-10-23T01:23:18-06:00

Frank follows the changed terms

The important change arrived Thursday evening. Lycia’s company announcement prices 17.64 million new shares at $18, versus Tuesday’s 14.7 million shares at $16–$18. All offered shares come from the company. Its expected Nasdaq debut is today, October 23; closing is expected October 26, subject to customary conditions. No specific debut time was verified. [1][2]

The South San Francisco company develops protein-removing treatments for allergic and autoimmune diseases. Its LCA-0061 program targets IgE in food allergy; LCA-0321 targets the antibodies involved in Graves’ disease. These are development programs, with clinical and regulatory work still ahead. [2]

Stan checks what changed

The base share count rose 20%. At $18, gross proceeds calculate to $317.52 million, about $67.62 million above Tuesday’s $249.9 million midpoint scenario. Gross means before underwriting charges and expenses. The comparison measures a larger financing, not a return earned by shareholders. [1][2]

The new 30-day underwriter option covers another 2.646 million shares. Full exercise would add $47.628 million gross and increase share supply further; it is an option, not an accomplished sale. [1]

Tuesday’s preliminary filing reported $148.1 million of cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities at June 30 and described using offering proceeds for allergy and Graves’ development and other operations. Its earlier net-proceeds and valuation examples assumed a smaller offering. They should not be presented as final figures for Thursday’s larger transaction. [2]

Frank finds a different kind of arrival

Davion deserves a correction to the uncertain calendar picture. Its October 20 company announcement specified an expected October 22 Nasdaq Global Market start, and dated market data now report trading that day. The company’s own news describes a direct listing. An existing-share listing is not the same financing event as Lycia selling new shares. A calendar’s 25 million-share entry should not be treated as 25 million newly sold shares raising money for Davion. [8][9][10]

Davion develops home health-monitoring devices. Its announcement says BreastCheck is intended to flag temperature abnormalities and does not replace mammography or clinical diagnosis. That qualification matters more than a promising product name. [8]

The remaining watchlist

IPOScoop now places Bitari in the October 26 week while Webull points to November 5. Webull has moved Starton to November 13, while IPOScoop still says TBA and gives different terms. Web3Labs remains postponed on its IPOScoop company page. None belongs in the confirmed-trading column on that evidence. [3][5][6][7]

Beyond Lycia’s expected October 23 debut and October 26 closing, no additional dated investor meeting or earnings call was found in the company announcements and news pages checked by the research cutoff. Nasdaq’s retrieved calendar lacked usable confirmation. Missing calendar data are not proof of no company news. [1][11][12]
