Key Takeaways

  • OPay’s tentative October 30 debut now agrees across IPOScoop and Webull; its proposed base offering would raise $320 million at the midpoint before costs.
  • Aspen and Bambusa each seek about $150 million at midpoint terms. Both remain clinical research businesses with treatments requiring further proof.
  • Webull adds BHAV Acquisition Corp II for October 29; its listing date and current deal size remain unconfirmed by the other calendars checked.
  • SPACCircle is reported priced at $100 million. BW Industrial has disappeared from Webull’s current list; that does not establish a completed listing.

Frank follows the calendar changes

The useful change this morning is agreement: IPOScoop and Webull now put OPay on Friday October 30. Yesterday’s conflicting dates have narrowed to one tentative expectation. A calendar still cannot tell us whether the sale has actually completed. [1][2]

Singapore-based OPay provides payments and other financial services, principally in Nigeria. Its preliminary filing offers 16 million American Depositary Shares at $19–$21. Each ADS represents ten ordinary shares. Base gross proceeds would be $304–$336 million before expenses; the midpoint is $320 million. An additional-share option and concurrent private placement are separate pieces of the financing. [3]

Stan checks the business behind the amount

IPOScoop reports OPay revenue of $805.83 million and net income of $49.85 million for the twelve months through June 30. That is an operating earnings record to investigate, rather than a promise about its shares. Currency movements, financial regulation and competition matter alongside customer growth. Proposed proceeds support technology, distribution and expansion. [3][11]

The two biotechnology offerings have similar price tags but different scientific questions. Aspen Neuroscience, founded in 2018 and based in San Diego, is developing sasineprocel from patients’ own cells for Parkinson’s disease. Its aim is to replace lost dopamine-producing neurons. This remains an investigational treatment. Roughly 9.38 million proposed shares at $15–$17 imply about $150 million gross at midpoint. [6][8]

Boston’s Bambusa, led by Shanshan Xu, develops antibodies aimed at two biological targets. BBT001 addresses inflammatory skin disease. Its October 26 filing offers 9.375 million new shares at $15–$17 and estimates $134.9 million net proceeds at midpoint. Existing funds and new capital would advance BBT001 and BBT002. [7]

Neither biotech has product revenue in the profiles checked. IPOScoop reports twelve-month losses through June 30 of $66.84 million for Aspen and $48.7 million for Bambusa. Losses are not cash-burn measures. Comparable offering sizes do not establish comparable value: clinical results, manufacturing requirements and later financing can differ substantially. [6][9]

Frank looks at Thursday and beyond

Webull now lists BHAV Acquisition Corp II for Thursday October 29, with an offering end date of October 28 and $10 units. Those are calendar expectations, not verified pricing or trading. Its September registration describes a blank-check company seeking an acquisition, led by Giri Devanur. That older filing proposed 15 million units; later Reuters reporting describes a reduction to ten million. Current final terms therefore need confirmation before treating either amount as settled. [2][10]

SPACCircle reportedly priced ten million $10 units on October 26, with October 27 scheduled trading. Each unit includes a share, warrant and a right to half a share after a business combination. That potential additional share supply deserves attention. BW Industrial’s earlier October 27 entry is absent from today’s Webull list; its completion remains unknown. [2][4]

Friday October 30 remains tentative for OPay, Aspen and Bambusa. No verified trading time was found. Bambusa’s year-end 2026 Phase 2b start-up target and Aspen’s second-half 2027 Phase 3 dosing expectation are management windows. The filings, company pages and announcements checked by the research cutoff yielded no additional specifically dated future investor meeting, earnings call or regulatory decision. That describes the checked sources, not an absence of news. [1][6][7][12]

Analysis only; proposed terms and past results do not predict returns.
